The Bell

Tomorrow is the big day.  By 1:30 pm, I will have two of our precious embryos sitting inside my uterus.  We hope for and expect nothing but successful results.

As I prepare for my two Princess Days (aka miserable days of bed rest) I have tried to think of small things that I can do to make these days easier.  After all, sitting laying in bed ALL day is a huge challenge.  I always worry that a wrong twist or turn or cough may displace our delicate embryos.  So, in an attempt to be heard from the bedroom, I came up with the bell.

This bell sits in our home on the kitchen counter top still drying from the coat of spray paint I applied earlier.  I bought it today and spruced it up a little because I don't do 'ugly' in my house.  Logan thought it (the use of the bell) was unnecessary, but I think it's brilliant.

Tomorrow afternoon it will be sitting on top of my dresser and within arms reach all hours of the day. I will use it and not feel bad about it.  Although, it may drive Logan nuts by days end.

But hey, if it prevents me from having to yell into the other room (and over the noise of the TV) to get Logan's attention, it's so worth it.
