Each Life That Touches Ours For Good

Logan and I are truly blessed.  Blessed with an incredible group of family and friends.  In the past week I have reflected on the acts of love and service that have showed up on our doorstep, in our hands and in our mailbox.  Each of these acts of genuine love have come from family, co-workers, high school friends, since marriage friends and church friends.  You'd be amazed by the things people do for others.  We've surely been amazed and so thankful to these people in our lives who took the time and effort to touch our hearts by doing a little something extra.  To you, thank you.

We feel so loved.  Really, we do.  I know that the Lord has blessed us with each of these amazing people for a reason.  They have loved us and helped us heal.  It's true what the scriptures say--by small and simple things are great things brought to pass, comfort those who stand in need of comfort, when ye are in the service of your fellow beings ye are only in the service of your God, he shall send his angels before thee...

I do not write this post to gloat.  I write it only to remember and to share the amazing hearts of people in this world.  In my world.  This experience has changed me and I never want to forget what it feels like to be on the receiving end of such goodness.  I know now that I have not done enough to touch the lives around me.  I hope I never forget how it feels and what amazing power there is in loving and serving others.
